Charming decor enhances the overall experience.
We faced a frustrating issue with ants in our room. After a significant delay and inconvenience, we decided to move to another room. The second room had a television without sound and was not cleaned thoroughly, with food remnants still present.

Conveniently located along a main route into Whitefish Montana, the Chalet Motel, while not fancy, is a very clean, comfortable place to stay at reasonable rates. Our room had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. The pool is good-sized and heated to a comfortable temperature. We enjoyed the abundant flowering plants and large wood carvings. The owner and desk staff went out of their way to accomodate our needs. We would recommend this motel to those wanting home-like lodging without resort amenities and prices. It would be perfect for any budget-conscious travelers wanting a home base for exploring the natural beauty and activities this area offers.
The hot tub was not working, which might disappoint some, but was not a problem for us. The complimentary breakfast was more a continental menu - muffins, juice, coffee. With the refrigerator, microwave, and proximity to shopping, we could have had a more substantial meal had we chosen to do so.

There were a microwave oven, a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that. The private bathroom. The hotel's location was particularly good, near Kalispell. There was a broiler restaurant nearby.

The room was very clean, had all one needed. The Motel is in a pretty central location in the area. I also liked the flyers and informations in the room about the area and attractions around, they were very helpful to me.

It was recently refurbished and reasonably priced in both beds, good enough for celebrating birthday. Location: the hotel was close to restaurants and activities and other convenient stores and the grocery store.

Charming room, clean room, with free fast wifi and a good breakfast spread that included fresh baked banana bread, making our stay very enjoyable.
Everything was ideal.

This motel was clean and I mean clean. Owner and evening manageress were super people who really made us feel welcome. The facility and pool are very well maintained. About the only drawback to motel is that it is not within easy walking distance of downtown Whitefish but neither are most of the other local motels situated to the South on Hiway 93 as you enter Whitefish from Kalispell. Rates were super reasonable at $140/night and in distinct contrast to our lodging in Jasper, ab which was grossly inferior in quality and condition although about the same vintage. We recommend Chalet without any reservation whatsoever.
Asolutely nothing.

Non-pretensive, seems popular with higher-class bikers (couples) and Canadians

Great choice for holiday. Pleasant and spotlessly clean venue, good for celebrating birthday. Unique units on the main level. Had convenient an iron, a coffee/tea maker and multi-channel television. Free parking outside provided. The pool area was nice too. Really friendly, superfriendly staff, marvellous location next to better restaurants, Kalispell and Montana. Also, to national park.
